Project Overview:  This project consisted of 3 newly constructed roadways, Copernicus, Point Twenty-Two Boulevard and Inspirian Parkway totaling one mile in total length.  Scope of work included a concrete arch culvert pedestrian underpass, asphalt paving, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, storm drain facilities, street lights, landscape improvements and traffic signals.

  • Project Overview: On this project, Mattamy Homes has selected DCS to be the general contractor for all offsite improvements on both Orchid Lane and Priest Drive, which include wet utility tie-ins, an overhead electrical conversion, and surface work tie-ins. Onsite work consist of more than 25,760 LF of underground utilities in sizes ranging from 3″ to 24″ in materials ranging from ductile iron pipe to vitrified clay pipe, along with a 96″ corrugated metal pipe underground retention system. Surface work includes more than 30,854 SY of asphalt pavement along with all signage, striping, and adjustment.

Cove at Palm Valley

  • Project Overview: On this small community project, Mattamy was able to contract DCS in a turnkey approach to self-perform the grading, wet utilities, concrete, and paving. This project also includes the removal of an existing underground culvert and replacing it with an upsized culvert to help control flooding of the existing roadway during heavy storms.

Sonoran Foothills 10

  • Project Overview: This project is a 111-lot subdivision located in the foothills of the Sonoran Desert Preserve. DCS self-performed the concrete and paving for this project, which included more than 5,910 LF of curb and gutter and more than 7,817 SY of asphalt pavement. We also removed and replaced sidewalk ramps along North Valley Parkway and Sonoran Desert Drive to comply with new ADA and county specifications.

The Parks Parcel A&B

  • Project Overview: DCS self-performed all underground wet utilities for The Parks development. This work included the installation of more than 15,464 LF of water mains ranging in size from 6” to 16”, along with the installation of more than 10,555 LF of sewer mains ranging in size from 8” to 12”, as well as connecting the sewer main to an existing lift station.

Tiger Mountain Drive and Victory Blvd

  • Project Overview: This project for DMB is the construction of two arterial roadways, which lead up to the newly constructed clubhouse located in the master community of Verrado. DCS is the general contractor for this project, and the scope of work includes the installation of two new arterial roadways, a double barrel 10’x8′ box culvert, dry utility installation, storm drain installation, and APS work along Indian School Road.

Eastmark Phase V Roadway and Traffic Signal Improvements

  • Project Overview: DCS is the general contractor on this project which includes the construction of a new arterial roadway leading into the master community Eastmark. DCS self preformed over 75% of the work and subcontracted out the remaining scopes such as traffic signal improvements, landscaping and traffic control. On this project DCS installed over 972 LF of a 16” ductile iron pipe waterline along with over 10,938 SY of asphalt pavement.

Basha Road, Parkview Place CMAR

  • Project Overview: This multi-phased CMAR project consisted of installing 0.25 miles of 8” sewer line down the 2-lane Basha Rd at Ocotillo Rd adjacent to Snedigar Sports Complex. DCS self-peformed 86% of the work. Specific work included existing sewer line removal, existing waterline relocations, sewer line installation, permanent asphalt replacement and complete restoration to return Basha Rd to its’ existing conditions. Public safety was a major concern because of projects location to Snedigar Sport Complex and large volume of vehicle and pedestrian traffic. The project was built in multiple phases working around the schedule constraints of the sport complex to limit the exposure to the public during construction.
