Heavy Equipment Operator

Overview:

DCS Contracting is looking for talented individuals to join our team! Minimum of 3 years of experience for all positions. Our operations cover all aspects of heavy civil road construction from grading, paving, concrete work, to wet utilities. All positions are full time with possible overtime.
We are looking to fill several Equipment Operations positions

GRADE CHECKERS. Entails oversight and execution of assigned project, setting and calculating grades, directs employees’ daily tasks. Experience with grade control and Trimble a plus.
FINISH BLADE OPERATORS- Should have experience finishing ABC and mass graded sites. CAT 140Ms
WATER TRUCK OPERATORS- Experience with filling out daily logs a plus. 2K up to 613 Water Pull
SCRAPER OPERATORS- CAT 613 & 623s

Estimating Intern/
Entry-level Estimating Assistant

Responsibilities: bid-submission tracking; performing take-offs for grading, paving, concrete and wet utilities; material calculations; and soliciting subcontractors / suppliers.

Requirements:

Estimating Intern: Minimum of 2 years of satisfactorily completed coursework in construction management or related field. Ideal candidates should have an understanding of the responsibilities for the position. Candidate must be organized, excel in math and analytical skills, be self-motivated and be a team player. Internship is ideal for students starting or finishing their junior year.

Entry-level Estimating Assistant: Four-year degree in construction management, civil engineering or related field. Ideal candidates should have some experience and knowledge of the responsibilities for the position. Candidate must be organized, excel in math and analytical skills, be self-motivated and be a team player. Estimating Assistant role is open for new and recent graduates.

Field Engineer Intern /
Field Engineer

Responsibilities: take-offs; RFIs; submittals; change-order tracking; ADEQ, OSHA and MCQAD monitoring; project coordination; and other related duties.
